How Thomas Dixon is outsourcing his memory to the cloud After sustaining a traumatic brain injury, Thomas Dixon decided to record his memories digitally. To turn this vision into a mobile app, Blackstone Launchpad introduced him to 17-year-old developer Nicodemus Madehdou.

The upcoming fifth annual Fox DESIGNchallenge is an excellent opportunity to apply your research and problem solving skills while also meeting and collaborating with your peers.

The DESIGNchallenge is a civic innovation competition. Last year over 175 students registered, representing 5 universities, 8 schools at Temple, 26 different departments/disciplines and 5 Philadelphia high schools.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in:
- gaining experience in interdisciplinary work
- applying design thinking skills to create positive social/civic change
- building a consulting resume
- networking with city officials, business leaders and academic peers.
- having your ideas displayed throughout the SEPTA system (Top 3 winning proposals)
