“Nolan, an agnostic, is new to the room of Alcoholics Anonymous, a deeply spiritual program. How can he recover, he asks himself, when he doesn’t believe in a higher power? When he meets Jimmy, a fellow alcoholic who believes that his addiction was a curse from the Devil, their conflicting philosophies lead to a fraught connection as they attempt to navigate the pitfalls of recovery, maintaining relationships and grappling with shame, fear, and faith.”

Come one, come all to the Drexel Players Talent Show on Sunday, May 31st, 5-7pm. You heard that right, we are putting on a Talent Show, so bring whatever you can do best. A monologue from a class, sing a song, dramatic reading of your fav tiktoks, or that short play you never thought would see the light of day. Feel free to go it alone, or snag some friends and talent together. This is meant to be a fun, performative way to celebrate the end of another amazing year, in addition to our annual Gala.
Please fill out the link below for either a 5 or 10 minute proposal slot to pitch your idea. Even if you want to create something and don’t know where to start, we want to do everything we can to make sure your idea can come to life. There will be one group rehearsal, two required rehearsals for your specific act TBD based on need, and a tech/dress rehearsal. Venue: Zoom. Performance date: Sunday, May 31st, 5-7 pm.
