Join the community on Friday, August 15, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the 4800 block of Frankford Avenue for a fun-filled, family-friendly event celebrating the start of the new school year.

With more than 1,000 attendees expected, families can enjoy community resources, back-to-school excitement, and activities for all ages. We hope to see you there as we get ready for another great school year!

Congratulations to Emma Rosario, who recently completed the North Carolina Outward Bound Blue Ridge Backpack & Whitewater Canoe expedition (NCTF-2622)! Throughout her journey, Emma embraced new challenges, strengthened her leadership skills, and learned the value of perseverance, teamwork, and resilience while exploring the great outdoors.

We are incredibly proud of Emma for representing CAP with courage and determination. We can't wait to see how she continues to grow during her senior year and beyond! 💙💛

Our students spent the day enjoying friendly competitions, exciting games, and plenty of laughs with their classmates. From staying active to making lasting memories, it was the perfect way to celebrate summer together.

At CAP, we believe experiential education transforms students from passive recipients of information into active participants in their own learning, and that's exactly what our students experienced through North Carolina Outward Bound.

Congratulations to rising seniors Elias Gonzalez and Yermani Ortiz, who took part in the Blue Ridge Backpack & Rock Climb expedition! Through backpacking, rock climbing, teamwork, and leadership challenges, they stepped outside their comfort zones, built resilience, and gained the confidence and skills that will serve them in their senior year and beyond.

Experiences like these prepare our students not only to navigate change, but to lead it. We are so proud of you both! 💙💛
