SLA's Rocket Shop needs your help!

As your child(ren) might have mentioned, the school store - The Rocket Shop - has officially opened for business! It's a favorite of SLA and Ben Franklin kids, but needs YOUR help to function. You can sign-up for 1 or more shifts, and even if you can only stay for a partial shift, that's ok! We just need 2 adults present to open each day.

SLA Center City has been named as the Cultivator of the Year award by ImBlaze!

Science Leadership Academy's Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) allows students to go out into the world, not just shadowing professionals but embedding themselves in the culture of their ILP hosts site. We are lucky to have so many partners who allow our students to experience the adult world of work while still in high school.

Last year, our 248 10th and 11th graders logged 6,456 ILP sessions for 8,240 hours!

If your organization is able to host a student for an ILP, please reach out!
