Our office was proud to take part in Philadelphia’s largest city-wide, single-day cleanup—Philly Spring Cleanup! 💐🧹

Temple University students, faculty and staff joined us in supporting this effort. Through Community Affairs and Engagement, we partnered with Berean Presbyterian Church, Temple Owls and the Temple Law BLSA to help beautify our campus and surrounding neighborhood.

Join us tonight for the Norris Homes Halloween Haunted House event at 2000 N. 11th Street for a night of fun and treats! 👻 We’re partnering with the Norris Homes Residential Association and student volunteers from Temple’s Cecil B. Moore Scholars Program.

We are partnering with Beech Companies for a free Halloween celebration! 🎃 Join us Oct. 31 at 5PM, 1504 Cecil B. Moore Ave, for candy, face painting and family fun in a safe space. 👻

🎃 Join the Temple Law School Black Law Students Association for its 4th Annual Trunk or Treat at Paul L. Dunbar Elementary! Enjoy music, candy, costumes, and fun on Oct. 27 at 5 PM. The event is held in partnership with our Office of Community Relations. 👻

We have partnered with Goodwill to offer a variety of adult education classes at our office. Students can take citizenship classes or prepare to take their high school equivalency exams. Click on the link to learn more!

Convocation 2025! Welcome to the Nest!

Last week we celebrated National Night Out, an opportunity for neighbors to come together in the spirit of camaraderie. We were happy to connect with our neighbors at Berean Presbyterian Church. The event was sponsored by Senator Sharif Street.

For Philadelphia's annual city-wide Spring Cleanup on Saturday, our office partnered with Temple University students, Temple University Community Service Association, Temple University Office of Sustainability, Project HOME and Temple Service Operations. The event is Philadelphia's largest city-wide, single-day cleanup of the year.

Our office, along with Norris Homes and the Temple University College of Education and Human Development cleaned the Norris Residential Community Center and assisted with setting up for a food distribution project in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day today.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day our office hosted a service project with Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Philadelphia Department of Human Services, Temple's Honors program and Philadelphia Youth Network, Inc. to participate in our annual cleanup at Berean Presbyterian Church and activities with youth this morning.

Families in North Central Philadelphia were treated to a home-cooked meal and connected with the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of Elders.🦃🍒
