Medical Students for Choice, UW-Madison

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health sent fifteen students to this year's Medical Students for Choice conference - the most of any school in attendance!

1973 - All women have access to abortion, and Medicaid covers abortion.

2017 - Abortions after 20 weeks are illegal in Wisconsin, an ultrasound must be performed regardless if whether medically necessary, NO private insurance on the exchange may cover abortion, no state funds go to any organization that refers patients to or provides abortions, plus more restrictions imposed on women.
