Our mission, as a progressive school and vibrant learning community, is to educate the character and intellect of children. We want our students to become engaged citizens who are critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, and lifelong learners.

At the beginning of each school year, TPS hosts its high school fair. It’s a great way for students to learn about all the schools Philly has to offer so they can begin thinking about where they want to go next. What’s really special is that a lot of the representatives are TPS alumni! We love having them back and seeing them guide our next graduating class in the high school process.

🥁Drum roll please🥁 The all-school theme for 2026-2027 is The Power of Play! The eighth grade class revealed the theme at Encuentro this morning and led the whole school in playing a game of freeze dance! Play is such a central part to a TPS education and we can't wait to see all the ways this theme brings joy to our students🤗
