It’s hard to believe that we have only two weeks left in the school year! There is a LOT going on, so here is a round up of events that we have to look forward to in the coming weeks. Hope to see you!

Please consider donating gently used toys, games, books and stuffed animals to the wildly popular New to You table. Students earn tickets through carnival games that they will use to select their prizes, while giving you an opportunity to clear out some clutter. Donations can be left in bins labeled "New to You Donations" in the back of the auditorium starting Monday, May 18 through Tuesday, June 2.

Will you be in Center City or University City on Wednesday? Skip the cooking and dine out for Meredith this week on Wednesday, May 20th at Dig Inn! The fundraiser is available ALL DAY, so you can get a delicious lunch or dinner while supporting our school!

The fundraiser is happening at all three locations - Rittenhouse, Jefferson, and UPenn - and Dig Inn has offered to donate 30% of sales to the Meredith HSA. You can order in store at or on their app, just make sure to tell them that you're participating in the fundraiser.

On Friday, May 15, we will have a special Community Coffee and Flash Uniform Sale after drop-off in the play yard. Enjoy coffee, doughnuts, and a chance to slow down and chat with fellow parents. Hope to see you there!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and that means it's time to celebrate all of the magnificent teachers that we have at Meredith! Friday, May 1 is Principal Appreciation Day, and we are shouting from the rooftops our gratitude for our fearless leader, Principal Brevard. She is kind, she is confident, she has vision, and she works so hard for our kids and for our school. We are so thankful for you, Principal B! 💙🤍🩵

Trivia Night at Bridget Foy’s was a packed house, with 16 teams participating, a tie for first place, and lots of fun for all involved. Thanks to the families who came out, to for partnering with us, and to Vijay Nathan for leading the night!

Spring Sparkle Day 2026 was a huge success! We tended to our garden, planted seeds, painted new stencils in the play yard, cleaned up trash, repaired our fence art, did crafts, ate snacks, swapped uniforms, and planted our new tree, named “Ed Williams Terracotta” aka Terry. (Some helpers found pieces of terracotta while digging, and the rest is history).
