The Social Skills Playgroup is back in 2026-2027! It's open to K-5 Meredith students and takes place on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15, starting September 9th. You can contact Ilexis Elba, who leads the group, or Ms. Weinstein for more information!

School supplies will be delivered to Meredith on Monday, August 17th, and we need help to distribute them to classroom teachers! Volunteer clearances are not needed for this opportunity. This is also a great way for new members of the community to get a first look into the school building and get to know fellow Meredith parents! It's almost time to Chalk the Walk! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 23rd, from 9:30am-12:00pm to join other Meredith families in decorating our sidewalks to help welcome students back for their first day of school. We'll have plenty of sidewalk chalk to go around, as well as a uniform sale, and uniform swap. We can't to see you!

A huge thank you to Philly Art Center for offering their Queen Village location for our kindergarten meet up today. They had two studios set up for our incoming kinders to create and get to know each other.

Hello, incoming kindergarten families! Please join us for a meet up on Thursday, July 30th, from 4:00-5:30pm at Philly Art Center's Queen Village location. Come make some crafts and get to know other 2026-2027 kindergarteners and their families!

It’s hard to believe that we have only two weeks left in the school year! There is a LOT going on, so here is a round up of events that we have to look forward to in the coming weeks. Hope to see you!

Please consider donating gently used toys, games, books and stuffed animals to the wildly popular New to You table. Students earn tickets through carnival games that they will use to select their prizes, while giving you an opportunity to clear out some clutter. Donations can be left in bins labeled "New to You Donations" in the back of the auditorium starting Monday, May 18 through Tuesday, June 2.
