Philadelphia student creates thrift store to keep clothes out of landfills, promote sustainable fashion Students are encouraged to trade an item of clothing they don't want for a new piece at the student-run thrift store at Girls' High.

The Alumnae were out in force today, wearing their white dresses to celebrate and support the 270th Class. Ms. Joan Stern of the School Board, and Loree Jones (230) were there as well. Loree Jones shared a message with our graduating class. Thank you to the all of the Alumnae that continue to support the School and the Students.

Alumnae, please know pages are getting spammed claiming to be selling alum shirts. I have repeatedly blocked these attempts. If it is not the school or the Alumnae Association selling items it is fake. Do not purchase from these vendors. They have stolen our designs and logos and are making selfish profit.

June 9, 2026 at 10am at the Kimmel Cultural Center, our Senior of the 270th Class took the stage in the Marion Anderson Hall. There is no graduation like a Girls' High graduation. Congratulations to the Class of 2026. They earned over 27 Million Dollars in scholarship.

Thursday was out Parent Breakfast. After the breakfast we had a painting experience for the families to enjoy. From painting to tote bag to paint on, the student and parent (s) could paint together.
