Congratulations to our advisor Dr. Alice Scaletta on winning the Outstanding Faculty Advisor award at this years Greek Awards! Dr. Scaletta has worked closely with us all year to help us succeed. The Race for Humanity couldn’t have happened without her support. Philadelphia College of Pharmacy

Thank you to all of our runners and donors who came out today for our Race for Humanity! Your dedication and generosity helped us raise $1,400 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! We are so proud of everyone!

We’re all set up awaiting registrants in the arc! It turned out to be a beautiful day for our 5k Race for Humanity!

The forecast gave us quite a scare, but it looks like the storm has passed us by. You'll still want to dress warm, but it's looking like it will be a beautiful morning to run for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Our Race for Humanity is still on this Saturday April 7th! Just a reminder to arrive early, registration begins at 7:30 in the ARC (recreation center) and start time is 9 AM at the woodlands cemetery. We look forward to seeing everyone and hope to have a fun day!

The bake sale is up and running, Wilson Hall until 3. Come out and support the Muscular Dystrophy Association!

Working hard after our meeting to decorate desserts for tomorrow’s bake sale for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Come out to taste our creations from 12-3 in Wilson!

Last year was a big year for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Over the past 2 years they funded research that led to 4 drugs being approved by the FDA concluding with Emflaza reaching the market in 2017. Thousands of children with Muscular Dystrophy attended summer camps to help empower them to live their best lives and 20,000 patients called in for help by trained MDA specialists on their support line. The Muscular Dystrophy Association aims to double their impact by 2020. To do this they plan to double the amount of money put into research to help find not only treatments but a cure. They also plan to double their support programs reaching over 50,000 patients a year. The MDA relies heavily on volunteers and donations and is in constant need of support. This is why we race to make a difference, so these research and support programs can continue to grow. Consider running in this years 5k Race for Humanity or make a donation to help the MDA change lives!
