In a joyful celebration stretching to the farthest seats of the Highmark Mann Center, over 800 students from LeBow's undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs were recognized at the college's Commencement ceremony on June 11.

After remarks from University and college leaders and inspiring thoughts from keynote speaker Lenny Comma ’92 and student speaker Arianna Cabrera ’26, graduating students made their way across the stage to cheers from family, friends, faculty, professional staff and their fellow classmates.

LeBow is proud to collaborate with international pharmaceutical, biotech and medical technology firm Johnson & Johnson (J&J), a longtime partner and Drexel University co-op employer, on its annual University Case Competition.

For the 2026 edition, student teams devised business plans based on a scenario from J&J; provided input on R&D, pricing, marketing, supply chain and human capital strategy supporting a new product launch; and presented their recommendations to a panel of judges.

Thank you to all the participants and congratulations to the winning team, who shared a $2,000 cash prize.

Every spring, LeBow students get a preview of careers in accounting — at the Big 4 and regional firms; in roles in audit, advisory, tax and more — at "A Taste of Accounting." Connections are formed as the next generation of accountants gets a glimpse of the future.

LeBow students received a day-long immersion in Philadelphia's golf scene through the Marketing Crisis Challenge earlier this spring. Offered in collaboration with the Philadelphia PGA Section, this business case competition challenged students to pitch actionable plans and recommendations for building awareness among youth, amateur and golf professionals and for attracting audiences new to the sport.

Business leader and executive coach Lenny Comma, BS finance '92, will be keynote speaker at LeBow's Commencement ceremony on June 11.

Since graduating from Drexel, Comma has held leadership roles across industries, most notably as CEO and chairman of California-based restaurant chain Jack in the Box from 2014 to 2020. In addressing the LeBow Class of 2026, he'll reflect on finding meaning in both life and work and encourage graduates to "cherish the day."
