Fox was dressed for success on Friday at our Fall Connection Fair! Our students showed up prepared, professional, and ready to grow their network. We loved seeing these amazing internship and job opportunities available, and we're eager to help guide our Owls to greatness.

Harakh Joshi spent her summer interning with Philly's biggest corporation, Comcast.

As a double major in marketing and management information systems, she hoped to find a placement that would flex her muscles in both realms and Comcast fit the bill perfectly.

“Not only do I admire Comcast and the corporate impact they have on the city of Philadelphia and region, but this internship offered a great blend of real-world applications for both my marketing and MIS classroom knowledge,”

The Fox School of Business understands the immense value of real world experiences, and heavily encourages its students to find internships that can show them exactly what their lives could look like after graduation.

The First-Gen Fox Den is a new initiative at the Fox School that aims to connect first-generation college students with people, programs and resources while creating a space where they can meet others who share similar experiences.

The Master of Accountancy program at the Fox School of Business not only prepares students for the CPA exam but also challenges them to apply their knowledge to real-world business decisions.

Although graduates Eric Orzehoski and Allyson Metzger had different paths, they agree the program's structure and opportunities for genuine connection made Fox an ideal fit. Some notable features of the program include the emphasis on case studies, CPA preparation integration, technology focus, and cohort support. Both students gained critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the accounting world.

From the classroom to New York, senior finance major Aadi Patil applied his Fox-learned skills to his summer internship.

After planning early and setting his eyes on what he wanted, Patil landed a spot with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group as an investment banking analyst where he gained experience in live-transactions and hands-on deals.

Patil explains how his experience at Fox, specifically his time spent in Owl Fund, really contributed to how he handled these challenging and real-world interactions in the field. As Patil says, “I could successfully apply concepts like modeling, valuation and analysis into practice at MUFG directly through experiences I’ve had with those subjects during my time in the Owl Fund.”
