This week, we will discuss what is the moral and political responsibility of revolutionaries in this 250th anniversary of the US state. Vital to this discussion will be a sermon from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "The Birth of a New Nation" given on April 7, 1957.

We also host a livestream of our weekly meetings on this page.

This Saturday, we will further examine the U.S. state and its crisis, how might it collapse, and how might the people take power. We will also discuss how might a state of the whole people be achieved.
This Saturday, we will continue our discussion on James Lawson, Henry Winston, nonviolence, the seizure of state power, and the achievement of revolutionary democracy.
Today we will discuss whether and how nonviolent resistance strategy is compatible with the new achievement of a new and revolutionary democracy, and how the theorizing of James Lawson and Henry Winston help us understand such a strategy.
This Saturday, we will discuss our two-day event from last weekend titled, “Freedom and Sacrifice in Our Beloved Struggle: A Tribute to Martin Luther Jr’s Life.” as well as Martin Luther King Jr. and James Lawson.
In a time of war and crisis, the voice of Martin Luther King Jr. calls to us: not from the past, but from our shared future.
On April 17-18 at historic Mother Bethel AME Church in Philadelphia, we pay tribute to a man who gave his life to the beloved struggle for freedom. Martin Luther King clarifies our revolutionary responsibility to renew the struggle against white supremacy and against the war-makers of this age. His vision guides our thought and action toward a new democracy of peace, that we may rejoin humankind in a single garment of destiny.
Day 1, Friday April 17 is being recorded and will be uploaded at a later time.
Day 2: Saturday April 18 at 10 am–5 pm

In his final book, Martin Luther King Jr. asked of the American people, "Where do we go from here: chaos or community?" Today, in the 250th year of the nation's founding, we see America waging war upon the world, and clouds of chaos pressing in all around us.
Such times call for a renewal of the revolutionary struggle for democracy which King and a generation of freedom fighters emblazoned across America and in our own city of Philadelphia. Such times call for solutions that come from the people, united together in Beloved Community.
This will be the subject of our Town Hall on Saturday afternoon April 18th, as part of Day 2 of our event honoring Martin Luther King. All are invited to participate in the discussion.
