Jiu Jitsu was my first passion. It was the first sport I fell in love with and found success participating in. For the last 10 years I’ve found myself in a de facto striking coach role because I was either renting space from a black belt or working with someone who wanted to own all of the BJJ programming.

Today we recommitted to making the Jiu Jitsu program excellent. I will personally be taking over Saturday Jiu Jitsu with an emphasis on takedowns and control. We’ve brought on highly accomplished competition athletes movementsbyjae & Aldo Beqiraj | We’ve brought on BJJ black belt Driven by the future to run our Monday BJJ fundamentals and our Thursday night MMA fundamentals class. We’re committed to more Jiu Jitsu competitions including in-house competitions and more pro super fights and tournaments. We don’t intend to be the best Jiu Jitsu gym in Philly because there are some serious powerhouses. But we are committed to developing you into the best athlete you can be whether that be in MMA, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Gi or NoGi BJJ. See you on the mats tomorrow!

I’ll be taking over Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu every Saturday at noon. I’ve got 20 years of grappling experience including lots and lots of competition wins in the Gi, NoGi and MMA. This week we’ll be focusing on basic judo throws and lapel chokes. See you at noon. 🤝
