HOMEGOING ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that the Porter-Davis Family announces the passing of our beloved mother, aunt, matriarch, co-founder of Porter’s Day Care & Educational Center, and cherished member of our family.

God in His infinite wisdom, grace, and power, has called her from labor to reward and welcomed her home to eternal rest.

We can only imagine that when the trumpet sounded, she answered the call of her Heavenly Father and entered into His presence, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more suffering.

“For the trumpet shall sound…” — 1 Corinthians 15:52

Her love, wisdom, strength, faith, and dedication helped lay the foundation upon which Porter’s Day Care & Educational Center was built. Her legacy will live on through the countless children, families, staff, and community members whose lives she touched.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that she has completed her earthly assignment and has received her heavenly reward.

At this time, we ask for your continued prayers, love, and support as our family mourns and celebrates the life and legacy of a truly remarkable woman.

Homegoing and service arrangements will be shared at a later date.

Sorrowfully submitted,
The Porter-Davis Family
