A little 2025 comp season throwback 🤩

The title of this piece is Flightless, choreographed to incorporate more floor work and the feeling of trying to take off but you keep falling back down. This piece evokes imagery of a baby bird trying to fly to leave its nest or even someone who takes 2 steps forward in life just to get dragged down by a challenge and takes 6 steps back. That’s the beauty of dance , it’s open for interpretation. What comes to your mind when you watch it?

Our littles have been working hard! This summer was about getting back to the basics, refining technique, and knowing our dance terminology! We gave ballet 1a some homework on tendu and here are their raw responses; they nailed it! Our tiny ballerinas are eager to continue this learning into the fall. Round 2 of company auditions are quickly approaching!

In addition to our Company audition, we will be holding a scholarship audition for dancers ages 10 to 17. Perspective and returning dancers will get a chance to audition for a full scholarship to cover dance tuition for the entire season! Check out our website for more information!

Our 6th Annual Recital was everything we could have hoped for and more! Our dancers worked hard all season long and it was so beautiful to see them shine on stage; we couldn’t be more proud of them 💖
