I have known you my entire life. There are moments that were great and others that were challenging, but I know I chose you to help guide and teach me the lessons of life. Ifa is truth and you Dad have a funny way of teaching the lesson of truth to me. Ifa told me the only entities that can tell me what to do is Ifa, Egungun, Ọ́ṣun, My Mother and My Father. Not saying other opinions don’t matter, but these entities will always tell me the truth in their way. So as I honor your day of birth to this world dad, I love ❤️ you unconditionally. We may not agree but you said something so profound to me today, to love unconditionally means to love yourself, love humanity, love your family, love your fears, love your enemies, love the liars, love the those who love chaos and confusion. You said “because your love and good character will be an everlasting impression on not only the person but those around them.” And then reminded of what Michelle Obama said, “when they go low, you go high.” Lol 😂 Dad, I didn’t even have to share my day and you knew!! There is a gospel song that says “no weapon formed against me shall prosper, it won’t work” and when we are connected to our Ẹgbé this is absolutely true.
So I pray that all the negativity being thrown at myself or any member of my blood, spiritual or any one I call family shall not prosper because of our devoted worship to our Ẹgbé. And we will receive the blessings, protection, prosperity, goodness, abundance and all the ire we deserve within our lifetime while we walk on this Earth.

Obátalà implores us to see beyond the veil of illusion and judgement. He needs for us to observe the sacred fabric that ties and binds all of humanity and nature in general. Irunmole all work together to help us navigate our best destiny along this journey called life. Obátalà uniqueness is that he created Iwa Pele or good character from the calabash of Igba Iwa. Through our greatest practice and tradition at it’s highest expression we will embody and model this gentle character in the likeness of our maker Obátalà.
