Happy Holidays and thanks for another great year!

Thank you Heather for coming out & speaking to us about your experiences working with Septa and Philadelphia International Airport. It was interesting to hear about the transportation realm of PR. We truly enjoyed hearing from one of our own La Salle Alums!

Yesterday members of PRSSA had the privilege of conversing with Campus Philly's Engagement Director Marissia Christie. Members enjoyed hearing her strategies of marketing to students across the Philadelphia region. Marissa also discussed her experience in public relations, social as well as traditional pitching, and project management.
When speaking about project management Marissa stressed the importance of listening to ones audience and how a plan can change at any moment.

PRSSA truly enjoyed hearing from La Salle alum Ben Guell. He spoke to us about his personal experiences and what things we can do to help us succeed in our careers. He works for Vault Communications currently and told us what his day to day work involves! Thank you for taking time to speak with us!

The PRSA/PRSSA meet up last night at WHYY Studios was a great way to connect with PR Professionals and executive board members from other chapters. Yet another chance for our members to hone their networking skills!

The Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA) put on another great Networking 101 event at Slice Communications on Tuesday evening. The City of Philadelphia whole-heartedly supports upcoming Public Relations professionals and gives students so many amazing opportunities to make and maintain connections. We cannot wait for Careers 101 in the Spring semester!

We had a great time last weekend networking and learning from Philly's public relations professionals at Temple University PRSSA Regional Conference!
