The Block Academy and The Block School

The Children of The Block Academy donated food to make 5 full baskets for 5 families in need for Christmas.

We were even able to get 5 turkeys, 1 for each family!

We hope the families that were chosen have a Merry Christmas!

Come join our CSS Staff, as we watch the exciting changes that are happening daily, as our building transforms into the Block Church! And we will shortly become The Block Academy!!

Our staff cannot wait until our name officially changes to The Block Academy!

Our tried and true academic Kindergarten and Preschool programs have been serving the Northeast for over 40 years, with our dedicated, nurturing and loving staff that is remaining with The Block Academy!

CSS Preschool is GROWING! We are looking for fabulous people that are dedicated, nurturing and love to work with children. Come join our family and have fun while working.

We are looking for experienced or newly graduated Preschool Teachers, Assistants and subs for our expanding Preschool and Kindergarten! Applicant must have the following current clearances and certificates: PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, PA Fingerprinting , Nat'l S*x Offenders Registry, PA Mandated Reporter Certificate, Current 1st Aid/CPR Cert, Recent Physical w/ TB. You'll also need a copy of your High School Diploma and copies of any post high school degrees, and 2 Professional Letters of Recommendation. If you do not have all of these, we can help you get the ones you are missing if you are hired.

We offer paid holidays, paid vacation and sick days, a 403B Retirement Plan, continuing education classes, and Aflac Insurance is available for purchase at a group rate. We are a smoke-free environment.

We are looking for highly motivated, professional individuals with excellent communication skills who are reliable, nurturing and creative to join our experienced staff.
