It is with deep sadness that we mourn the recent loss of our teammate, Steve Green. There are no words that can fully express what a remarkable young man Steve was. Steve was in 11th grade at KDCA. He loved to play sports, especially football and basketball. He was kind, goofy, determined to succeed, and loved by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. As difficult as this is for our school community, we know this is an especially devastating loss for his family.
Steve, you will be missed forever and always. The beautiful moments you shared with us will never be forgotten. ❤️

It was a day of celebrations at KDCA! We celebrated our Grit award winners for their dedication over the last five or ten years. Congratulations Mr. Leon (5 years), Mr. Taylor (5 years), Ms. C (5 years), Mr. Eaton (10 years), and Ms. Poorman (10 years)! KDCA wouldn’t be the same without you! 💙💛
