The new "Oxford Handbook of Indigenous Oral Traditions and Archaeology" (edited by Margaret Bruchac, Andrew Martindale, George Nicholas, and Kisha Supernant) is being released digitally as individual chapters, in advance of the printed version, which will come out later this year. The introductory chapter is titled: "The Speaking Past: Positioning Oral Traditions in Archaeological Practice."
