Calling Philly daycare’s, Child services worker, or human services workers need CPR cerification to do their jobs. I am a PQAS certified CPR instructor on the PD registry. I can do individuals at my place of business or I can travel to places needing 3 or more people. I am in the west oak lane area but I will travel to ensure you meet your CPR requirements. Today we observe a day without daycare to bring awareness to society about the importance and relavance to the world and the economy. Everybody thinks day care is big money, new flash its not! The average subsidy payment is less than 5$ per child. So in order to see a profit and pay the child care worker a decent salary a center probably needs to service about 30 children. We maybe able to get more from private pay but many can’t afford to pay. There is also family childcare that can only service 6 children and believe me it’s a struggle.

So today spread the word, and show appreciation to the dedicated professionals who lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

Our work is so very important! We nurture curiosity, build confidence, and provide the safe, loving spaces where young children take their first steps toward understanding the world. Every smile we encourage, every tear we soothe, and every lesson we patiently guide shapes not only a child's day—but their future.
