Today’s SGI was intentionally aligned to the Word Recognition strand of Scarborough’s Rope: strengthening phonological awareness, decoding, and sight recognition so our earliest readers build the automaticity needed for fluent, skilled reading.

At 2:30 PM, ’s principal, Dr. Rodriguez was officially duct taped to the wall 😅

230 students earned this attendance incentive, and they came ready with all the excitement. With 24 rolls of duct tape, they made sure their principal wasn’t going anywhere!

Proud of our students for meeting their attendance goals and for showing us how powerful it is when we celebrate positive habits. Today was fun, memorable, and a reminder that showing up matters.
