Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for an evening of conversation and connection in Washington, D.C. with Head of School Dr. Steve Druggan. Thank you to Keith Murphy ‘92 and his family for graciously opening his home to host our community. It’s always special seeing our alumni come together, catch up, and stay connected. Last week, members of the SCH alumni community gathered for Convocation to kick off the 2026–2027 school year. Alumni Association President Dr. Josh Atkinson '92 gave remarks, reminding students to "use this year to build upon your stories and to think about what they say about the person you are becoming."

Here's to a great school year!

SCH spent yesterday exploring NYC and reconnecting with our amazing alumni! 🚕🗽

We kicked off the day in Manhattan with lunch, headed over to Brooklyn for some book shopping at Liz’s Book Bar—owned by author Maura Cheeks ’05—and wrapped up the night with drinks at our NYC Happy Hour.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special day! Washington, D.C., you’re up next! 🏛️

From SCH “lifer” to world ninja champion to American Ninja Warrior competitor, recent grad Jackson Erdos ’25 has already made his mark on the global stage. At the heart of his journey is a belief he carries with him, both on and off the course:

“Everyone gets so nervous about graduating, college, and planning the future. But it’s not always black and white. My advice is to follow the path that makes you happy… Being an amazing athlete is one thing, but being an amazing person is what I want to be known for.”

Now, Jackson is training and competing around the world while coaching more than 40 young athletes at his home gym. We can’t wait to see where his next chapter takes him!

We're incredibly proud of Cole Brown '14, our 2025 CHA Young Alumnus of the Year! He directed a new documentary for Ralph Lauren, "A Portrait of the American Dream: Oak Bluffs," which celebrates the history of the Black community in Martha's Vineyard.

“It’s a story of Black aspiration, Black success in a time and place where that was far from guaranteed in most parts of the country,” Brown said in a recent Good Morning America interview about the project. “We wanted to reach out to the community and say, ‘Hey, what stories have really created this place that has become so special for Black history?’”
