In 2022 our union made the decision to expand their role in the fight for great public schools. We, as a collective, committed to be the union we needed to be to face the fight we were facing. We rolled up our sleeves, we imagined what could be, and we are making it happen!

So honored and excited that the March 1st deadline has come and gone and I will be running unopposed for the position of AEA President.
I will be serving as the FIRST BIPOC woman AEA President and stand on the shoulders of giants.
To say that I am humbled and inspired is an understatement.
