O Girls of the Hallahan High....get out and safely enjoy this beautiful Saturday. Stay safe and healthy ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™ Mickey mask was made by my sister, Donna โ€˜85
Junior prom may have been canceled but Meadow and Caitlin had fun dressing up and taking pictures outside of school, Logan fountain and the art museum! They miss school so much๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ
This morning Hallahan did a beautiful thing for itโ€™s girls and their families! The principal has all of the girls log in via zoom to start the day with morning prayer! It was a great way to start the day! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ
Hi will someone who knows Haley Harrington please tell her to call Mr. Stella at school on TUESDAY. CBS SUNDAY MORNING wants to buy her SUN--(GRAPHIC DESIGN) He has been trying to contact and has been unable. Please pass this on INSTAGRAM--SNAP CHAT whatever works. THANK YOU!
Class of 1970 Reunionwill be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Waterfall Room - Swann Caterers from 2-6 p.m.
I want to know if anyone else feel the same as I do? As an alumnae I was so excited when the post came up about online store to purchase school gear. I quickly asked for alumnae options and was provided some. I ordered shirts for my mom and aunt (class of โ€˜67) and myself as Christmas gifts. It wasnโ€™t the best experience. I placed my order on 12/9 and didnโ€™t receive my items until 12/24. Additionally I had to contact the vendor several times to get pertinent information. Lastly while the shirts are ok, they do NOT look like the shirts on the website (I canโ€™t post comparison photos). As the vendor admitted they just started working with HH, itโ€™s clear they didnโ€™t expect to receive orders either as they were not prepared for the holiday season. I hope they improve their quality of service and production going forward. I am reluctant to purchase other alumnae items.
I have found a class ring inscribed with Natalie Palmer's name. It appears to be a 2012. I was hopeful that you could reach out to her and get back to me with a method to get it back to her. Thanks in advance for your support!!

hello does anyone know when the entrance exam scores will be available to view?
Graduated from Hallahan June 1962. Am embarrased at the reaction to allowing children from a public school use part of the building when they were forced to leave their school for health and safety issues. Where was the compassion and concern for the kids with no place to learn? Eileen Jara Bruce
A photograph of early construction of Hallahan in 1911 is posted on Bill Carpenter's Fairmount FaceBook page. It shows the NE corner of 19th & Wood Streets with the 1800 blocks of Carlton and Wood streets.

Welcome to Hallahan's fan page. In 1901 Hallahan began educating women with faith, purpose, and vision in Center City Philadelphia.

Our beautiful 2020 Annual Report is now available digitally!

We're grateful to have the opportunity to thank our generous donors for all they've done over the past year. While this report was completed prior to the recent archdiocese announcement, we want to share with you our thanks and all the wonderful things that make Hallahan such a special place. We wish you all a happy, safe and joyous holiday season!

We may be virtual but Lenny & Phil are keeping the Christmas spirit alive in the halls of Hallahan!

On this day, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, we pray.

Holy Virgin Mary, you are reigning in glory, with Jesus, your Son.
Remember us in our sadness.
Look kindly on all who are suffering or fighting against any difficulty.
Have pity on those who are separated from someone they love.
Have pity on the loneliness of our hearts.
Have pity on the weakness of our faith and love.
Have pity on those who are weeping, on those who are praying, on those who are fearful.
Holy Mother, please obtain for all of us hope and peace with justice. Amen.

Congrats to our Fall 2020 All League athletes!

A prayer of peace for the second week of Advent.

Prince of Peace, we seek you. In far off lands, your children flee their homes pursued by violence. In our community, we know not all our neighbors are safe from brutality.

Prince of Peace, we seek you. You sent your son, Jesus, to bring your peace and comfort to the world. In this season of Advent, renew and strengthen us in a commitment to your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Prince of Peace, we seek you. May your peace fill our hearts and grace our lips so that we might be agents of your peace in the world.

#FlasbackFriday to the Class of 2005!

During this first week of Advent, we offer this prayer of hope.

God of hope, who brought love into this world,
be the love that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought peace into this world,
be the peace that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought joy into this world,
be the joy that dwells between us.
God of hope, the rock we stand upon,
be the centre, the focus of our lives
always, and particularly this Advent time.

Congratulations to senior Ava Cima who recently won the title United States of America's Teen Pennsylvania 2021! We're so proud of you! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

Happy Thanksgiving from the Hallahan family to yours!

O Lord our God, although our hearts are heavy today we thank You who supplies us with countless blessings, strength and courage. Lift up our hearts in gratitude and thanksgiving. Help us to remember the gifts we seldom notice, the abundance we take for granted, the rich possibilities you provide. For our daily bread, for water that is pure, for houses to live in and friends to enjoy, we give you humble thanks. For our beloved Hallahan and the gifts it brings. For beauty and fruitfulness, for healing and hope, for the comfort of your presence, we lift our voices in joyful praise now and always. Amen.
