We are the Language and Cognition Lab at the University of Pennsylvania!

Children around the world acquire their first language within just a few short years! Our lab explores how children are able to do this by studying language development in communities across the world. We work with children in daycares and local preschools in places like the United States, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Korea, China, and Mexico!

If you would like to find out more or get involved, we’d love to hear from you. You can find more information about our lab at www.langcoglab.com or visit our online research website https://web.sas.upenn.edu/langcoglab/ to learn how to participate in our online research with children and families!
