Big Congratulations to our JV Boys Baseball team who won the CYO Championship on Thursday night! The boys and their coaches worked very hard this season. We are Saint Matt’s proud! ❤️⚾️🖤

🎶 A Special Musical Treat for PreK 3 & 4! 🎶

Our PreK 3 and PreK 4 students were treated to a wonderful demonstration by our school band! Mr. O’Neill did a fantastic job introducing each instrument, explaining what it is called, the different parts of the instrument, and demonstrating the unique sounds each one can make.

The students who have been working hard to master these instruments were excited to showcase their talents and share their musical skills with our youngest learners. From the first note to the last, our PreK students watched with eyes full of awe and wonder as they experienced the joy of live music.

A big thank you to Mr. O’Neill and our talented band members for inspiring the next generation of musicians! 🎺🥁🎷🎶✨

Yesterday our students were treated to an amazing performance by the juggling duo, Give and Take! 🤹‍♂️✨

The room was filled with amazement, giggles, surprise, and excitement as students watched their incredible tricks and entertaining act. There’s something special about gathering together as a school community for a fun, shared experience.

Saint Matthew School celebrated Memorial Day today with a truly special and meaningful ceremony as we dedicated one of the city’s 250th Anniversary Bells to our front lawn. It was a beautiful morning filled with prayer, community, and patriotic pride. Our third graders led us in a heartfelt rendition of God Bless America, bringing everyone together in song and reflection. As we honored those who served and sacrificed, Saint Matthew was filled with gratitude, pride, and the spirit of unity that makes our school community so special. ❤️🤍💙

Gym Marathon: A cherished Saint Matthew tradition that marks the beginning of the “end of year” celebrations for our 8th graders. Mrs. Guerin and Mrs. DeVito worked so hard to plan a day full of excitement, memories, and fun for our students.

“Best Day Ever!” was heard countless times throughout the schoolyard as students enjoyed games, friendly competition, t-shirt designing, tie-dyeing, color wars, and so much more. Most importantly, it was a day filled with bonding, laughter, and love shared among classmates who have grown up together through the years.

To make an already unforgettable day even more special, the celebration ended with the Yearbook Committee revealing the 2026 Saint Matthew Yearbook, followed by each 8th grade student receiving their very own copy. Smiles, excitement, and memories filled the room as students flipped through the pages together.

A special day creating memories that will last long after their Saint Matthew journey comes to an end.
