The Drexel Photography Program invites alumni, faculty, students, and friends to join us for our annual Alumni Social in Philadelphia.

Professor Andrea Modica’s new monograph, Italian Story, published by L’Artiere Press - , has been recently released and is already receiving critical attention.

The Drexel University Photography Program is proud to announce the release of the 2026 Senior Thesis Student & Faculty Portfolio—a limited-edition collection supporting this year’s Senior Thesis Exhibition.
Featuring selected work from the Class of 2026 alongside faculty Andrea Modica, Amanda Tinker, Kylie Wright, and Michael Froio, the portfolio reflects the ongoing dialogue between students and mentors developed over four years of study. This pairing offers a rare look at how visual language evolves through sustained critique, collaboration, and shared inquiry.

Drexel Photography is pleased to announce Nathan Zwirn - a recipient of the 2026 Photographic Society of America (PSA - ) Scholarship.
Nathan’s work documents industrial and post-industrial spaces, examining themes of labor, memory, and the passage of time. His recent 4x5 film project on the Edward G. Budd Manufacturing Plant in Philadelphia reflects deep historical research and a sustained commitment to preserving places before they are erased.
Through careful large-format image-making, Nathan creates visual records that honor the legacy of industry and community. His selection for the 2026 PSA Scholarship highlights the strength and clarity of his evolving practice.
