The Pennsylvania Barber School is hosting a community fundraiser and service initiative from June 22 through July 4 in celebration of Philadelphia’s 250th anniversary. The event will provide 250 free haircuts, along with free food, music, and a community cookout on July 4, to support underserved individuals and families. In addition, a $10 haircut fundraising campaign aims to raise $2,500 to cover supplies, student training, and event resources. This initiative promotes community empowerment, workforce development, and access to essential services while giving barber students valuable hands-on experience.
