This Black History Month, I’m honoring the voices that made me unmute mine. Each of these authors didn’t just write books — they wrote blueprints. For freedom. For healing. For truth.

✨ Zora Neale Hurston gave Black women back their voice, writing us as wild, radiant, and free. ✨ Toni Morrison taught us that language is a form of survival and liberation. ✨ James Baldwin wrote with a fire that still burns through injustice today.

✨ Ta-Nehisi Coates captured the weight of our history with surgical precision and spiritual depth.

✨ Yaa Gyasi made generational trauma make sense and gave us permission to break the chain.

These aren’t just authors. These are architects of legacy. I’m here because they were brave enough to tell the truth.
