to UB Career Day and our students answering the question ? 💭💭💭Decision day is next week ‼️((May 1st))‼️ so it’s time to lock in on your goals for the future 💫💫.

To wrap up Spring Break, UB students got creative with a pottery class courtesy of The Clay Studio's Claymobile and staff. They discovered hand-built pottery techniques and crafted their own coil pots, which will be fired in the kiln - stay tuned for the final results in a few weeks!

Over Spring Break, UB students gave back to the community by volunteering at Cradles to Crayons. This Philadelphia-based non-profit reduces waste by collecting and distributing gently used items to children in need. Students and staff helped sort donations, making sure they get to those who need them most.

UB student got out and about during spring break, visiting Delaware State University, an HBCU in Dover, DE. Students went on a tour led by a campus ambassador and got to see academic buildings, student rec center, and eat in the dining hall. Thanks for having us Del State!

Penn Upward Bound and Talent Search Programs collaborated for an AMAZING Career Day on March 28th! Students participated in workshops hosted by Wharton Business mentors focused on networking, professional communication, and career outlook. Then students visited different career rotations where they got to connect with our amazing volunteer professionals from various career fields. A great day filled with learning, networking, and fun! Thank you to all students, staff, and volunteers who helped make this day possible!

Upward Bound students used their day off school to tour Jefferson University East Falls campus!! 🏫🎓📚 We got to see many of the labs and workspaces and examples of student projects in industrial design, textile creation, and furniture making! 🎨🪑👗thanks TJU for a great visit!

UB students enjoyed a field trip during College Prep Saturday last week to visit various labs at CHOP. Thanks to some amazing volunteers with Pharm4Good, students learned about current research in the field of pharmacology! 🧬🔬🥼
