The Rockettes are excited to be back at home in Rocket Stadium under our own Friday Night Lights cheering on our Rockets! It’s also Homecoming and we are proud to have three of our Rockettes on the court this year.

The Rockettes still have plenty of fans to help make these warm Autumn days cooler for you. They are made of corrugated plastic and are very durable. If you’re planning on going to the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally here on campus this afternoon, you may need a fan. Get your fans from the Rockettes, a Rockettes Booster, or me. Fans are $8 each or 3 for $20.

What a great day we had learning our Pom choreography!!! It may be Fall Break for our students and staff, but for many of our Neshoba Athletes, it’s still time to do work and put in the reps. Thank you Mrs. Bridget Kelly for always pouring into our Team with each opportunity you get. This year’s music may have tested the thought process somewhat; but we CAN NOT wait to see this art in action!

🦋💕 Showing Dolly some L🩷VE 💕🦋

To show our love and appreciation for the legend and beloved country singer, Dolly Parton, for the last two weeks the Rockettes added some pink and Dolly to our Friday Night Lights.

Last Friday night the Rockettes performed a UDA Jazz routine to the ever so famous song 🎶 9 to 5 🎶 during halftime wearing boots and pink ribbons. This Friday night we wore pink ribbons again and brought out the pink pompoms to acknowledge Dolly Day on 9/25.

Last Friday afternoon the Rockettes enjoyed a pregame meal at Longino Baptist Church hosted by our Dance Moms: Emily, Kristy, Kelly, Conswella, Amie, and grandmother Rhonda. We are so appreciative of our families for providing meals for us before home games and to our area churches for allowing us to use your facilities so that 23 teenage girls can get ready together on Football Fridays. We love our families and our community! Thank you to our very own Sophomore Elaina Hill for our devotion and sweet words about friendship. She is such a wise, mature, and thoughtful young lady; and she gave each of her teammates and Coach a handwritten note and luggage tag with a verse about friendship to remember this occasion and our time together each week. We are blessed with the best girls in every way!
