I’ve also enjoyed collaborating with my colleagues of the Research Focus on Black Education Special Interest Group! We’ve planned some great sessions, fireside chats, and social events that won’t disappoint! If you’re in the area, come out to support us! I’m looking forward to re-connecting with colleagues and mentors as we learn, grow, and celebrate together! What does your face communicate? I read somewhere, “Smile until you make yourself happy”. We might be quick to hold onto our stressors. Let’s practice praying and leaving our worries at the cross. It’s not easy to smile through life’s problems. There’s true pain at times. One thing we can remember is to continue to say aloud scriptures or say things like, “Jesus take the wheel” or “God’s got this”… I’ll be working on this again! Just food for thought as we enter into another week.

Just a reminder… This is also a great exercise to help us stay focused on our purpose. Have a great weekend all!

On this cold winter day, remember to take time to reflect, revive, and restore.. Get ready for the week ahead. “You got this” when you take time for self!
