University of Pennsylvania Talent Search Program Free program helping Philly 6th-12th graders successfully graduate high school and enroll in college. Our services are completely free to eligible students.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Talent Search Program is a federally funded program designed to help first-generation students from modest-income families successfully complete high school and enroll in postsecondary school. TS provides approximately 600 students in grades 6-12 with support services that promote the academic and personal development necessary for entry into, and success in, postsecondary curricula.

In this session, we'll go over a fall application timeline for seniors and tour the Common App, including the activities section.

College Corner meets from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on select Wednesdays. Enrolled TS participants can find the Zoom link in Canvas. We look forward to seeing you there!

TS Scholars, mark your calendars for this semester's College Corner sessions!

Presented by Ms. Sofia, College Corner is a series of live webinars covering everything you need to know about the college application process. Each session has a specific focus, full of helpful information and opportunities to ask questions.

Students will learn about their college options while they receive timely support with their 12th grade milestones. Though sessions are geared toward helping 12th graders accomplish their college application goals, juniors and sophomores are welcome to join for a preview of what's next.

College Corner meets on select Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. on Zoom. Enrolled Talent Search scholars will find the link in their email and on Canvas.

Rising 7th and 8th graders enjoyed a visit from Penn Vet's Assistant Director for Outreach Education, Karen Verderame, and some animal friends last week! We got to meet a tarantula, a scorpion, a vinegaroon, and a red-eared slider — and learned about how even small animals can impact the environment they live in. Thank you, Karen and for a great presentation. We may have some future vets among us!
