Courage does not require saying everything. It requires knowing what matters enough that silence would become its own decision.
That discernment is part of inner leadership: recognizing what is true, what is yours to name, and how to communicate it without abandoning either courage or care.
Before the next difficult conversation, ask:
What matters here?
What does responsible truth-telling require from me?
What would it look like to speak with clarity rather than reaction?
Save this for the conversation you have been preparing to enter.
