Two weeks in Greece. Zero regrets. Three big ah-ha moments.
How did you disconnect and reboot this summer?
Drop it in the comments! Let’s hear about the fun sh*t that actually makes all this work worth it.

If your area’s income is climbing but your prices haven’t moved since 2019, I have questions.
Save this post if you’ve been trying to raise prices but didn’t know where to start.
This free worksheet walks you through how to calculate what clients in YOUR area are actually spending, not based on feelings, but on actual income data.
Comment PRICING and I’ll send you the worksheet to break this down for your zip code, town, country, or general area.

I know what it’s like to feel that you’re pouring everything into this salon, and it’s like it’s not enough.
But doing it all alone? That’s just not necessary. We all could use an outside perspective.
And the truth is, I don’t think we were meant to do this alone.
We’re expected to have our finger on everything: the team, the numbers, the clients, and somehow still stay inspired.
With hundreds or even thousands of clients in our database and a team full of humans with different needs, the right support can be the difference between wanting to shut it all down and finally hitting our dream salary with balance.
I’m here for that. For you.
Support, with a little bold banter and a whole lot of empathy.

Your booking process shouldn’t give “scroll, confusion, rage quit.”
It should give “booked, busy, and she eats.”
Send it to your friend (or boss) who “doesn’t believe in websites” but also doesn’t have any new clients.
Comment “JOURNEY” and I’ll rate your salon’s digital path like Regina George rates outfits: fast, savage, and painfully honest. But, like, make it fun.

Listen the f*ck up. 🫵🏼 AI is not a replacement for your heart or your brain. But if you know how to use it, it will help scale your business.
If you’re throwing in half-baked prompts with zero personal context and expecting genius-level content? That’s not gonna happen. And your audience will sniff it out immediately.
Smart business owners use AI as a tool. That means training it with your tone of voice, your mission, your values, and the real-life situations you’ve navigated. The emotions behind them. The actual behind-the-scenes of your business.
If you don’t, you’ll be regurgitating recycled bu****it that sounds like it came from a 2007 infomercial. Even worse, you could confuse your clients, alienate your team, or share info that’s flat-out wrong.
Yes, AI can make mistakes. It misses things all the time, especially when you’re only giving it part of the picture. And if you don’t double-check what it spits out, that’s on you.
Want to make AI your most productive hire? Train it like it’s your therapist, your business partner, and your best friend.
(You can eye-roll if you want, but ChatGPT has made me thousands of dollars. So who’s the joke on? Period.)
DM me “PROMPT” and I’ll send you the 15 go-to prompts I use every month to keep my content, coaching, and strategy on point.
XOXO,
Bobby

It’s one thing to be generous and another to be naive.
You didn’t earn the tip.
It doesn’t grow your business.
So why are you paying the fees and not accounting for them?
These remedies still let clients say thank you
and stylists feel appreciated without you quietly bleeding profit.
I’m curious: How are you handling tips in your salon?
Drop a comment and fill me in!

Hold up before you go off. This isn’t an attack, and I’m not pretending to know everything. Got it! Cool.
It’s my reminder for you. Just audit the advice. 🫵🏼
I’m all for learning from peers in the industry. So many of them have incredible insights, even if they’ve gotten out of the biz or never owned a salon.
But when it comes to building systems, scaling teams, raising prices, and navigating the ever-changing chaos of salon ownership in 2025?
I look for people who are currently in it, offering optimistic paths to success, and not just remembering what it was like years ago or posting what AI told them to say.
This carousel isn’t about my ego, we can save that for another post. 😏
It’s about being intentional with your time, your money, and your mentors.
If it lands, I’d love to hear which slide hit hardest. If it doesn’t? You know the drill, keep it pushing. 💅🏼

DO THIS FOR 7 DAYS: DM me “I did it” & I’ll send you my branding course for free.
Yes, free. Because if you can follow this checklist, you’re ready to actually grow your brand.
You’re here to build demand. Authority. Sales.
The problem? Your strategy is nonexistent. Your content falls flat. You’re showing hair, not perspective.
If you’ve been wondering why your dream clients scroll past your work, this is an easy challenge for you.

I know this post hits hard. But send it to someone who needs to hear it.
I didn’t build a profitable salon, reinvent my team, or launch a second business by playing it safe or burying my head in the sand as the industry changed.
There were moments I wanted to shut it all down. Truly.
But I didn’t, and neither should you.
If you’re a salon owner feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or just straight-up at your end, I see you.
And I promise, it’s not too late to shift. You just need to be willing to do something different.
I’ve made the hard pivots. I’ve failed, fixed it, and tried again.
Now I help others do the same, and I’d love the chance to help make that change with you.

If your clients need three reminders to confirm their appointment, they don’t need a stylist — they need a personal assistant.
Failure to follow your policies or even just show up means they broke a commitment, and fees are owed for the time reserved just for them. Sticking to your boundaries is good business, it’s not rude.
Drop “Policy” in the comments and I’ll take a look at yours and offer a suggestion, no strings attached.
XOXO,
Bobby

Do you ever think about how wild it is that one person can lift the whole room, and how one energy-suck can drain it just as fast?
It always amazes me that I’d be eye-rolling and avoiding the negative Nancy at a dinner party. But I didn’t always take care of it when I should have, within my business.
It’s hard enough to get into a positive mindset, so I’ve learned to protect my space, whether in the salon or wandering through life. It’s never fun or motivating to be around a person who ruins the vibe.
Are you protecting yours?
XOXO,
Bobby

I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes.
When success comes quickly, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and reactive, especially when you’re suddenly the boss of big careers.
I look back now through a very different lens than even a year ago. Part of my job is offering critique to others, but the real growth came when I started offering it to myself.
The road’s been bumpy, but it’s been worth it. And today, I’m proud, not just of the business I’ve built, but of the people surround me.
XOXO,
Bobby
