🧠 SEPTEMBER PARENT ACADEMY: UNDERSTANDING YOUR CHILD'S BEHAVIOR

What if we stopped asking only:

"How do I stop this behavior?"

…and started asking:

"What is my child trying to communicate?"

Behavior can communicate frustration, overwhelm, a need for connection, difficulty with transitions, or a skill the child hasn't learned yet.

At WCEA, we're committed to helping families and educators look beyond the behavior while still maintaining healthy boundaries, expectations and accountability.

This month we're exploring practical ways to understand behavior, identify patterns, teach replacement skills, support emotional regulation and create consistency between home and school.
