📣 Attention Titan Families! 📣

Beginning tomorrow Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the student drop-off gates located behind the cafeteria will close promptly at 8:10 AM.

This adjustment is being made to help ensure appropriate student supervision and campus safety as our staff transitions to instructional responsibilities for the start of the school day. Instruction begins promptly at 8:15 AM.

Students arriving after 8:10 AM may still be dropped off at the front of the school, where they can enter safely through the main entrance.

We greatly appreciate your support, flexibility, and cooperation as we make this adjustment in the best interest of our students and staff. Thank you for helping us keep our Titans safe and ready to learn each day! ⚡

🏆September Titan Award Recipient – Lizbeth Rodriguez! 🏆

The Titan Award is presented each month to a staff member who exemplifies the very best of what it means to be a Titan. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that, after the first recipient is selected, each honoree chooses the next, passing the honor forward throughout the school year.

For the month of September, we are proud to recognize Lizbeth Rodriguez, Pre-Kinder Paraprofessional! Ms. Rodriguez consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She readily steps in when additional support or coverage is needed and is always willing to help ensure the safety and well-being of our students. Her work ethic is second to none, and she truly embodies the Titan spirit through her dedication to instruction, compassion for students, teamwork, reliability, and professionalism.

🏈 Thank you, Titan Family! 🏈

A huge thank you to our staff, students, and parents who came out last night for Pack the House in support of our feeder high school, the PSJA North Raiders! It was a great night to show our Raider pride as PSJA North defeated the Los Fresnos Falcons 41–3!

We were especially excited to see our Titan Cheer Squad, Titanettes Dance Team, and Allen the Orange Mascot representing Arnold — and how awesome was it to see our students on the Jumbotron!

Thank you for showing up, showing support, and representing A&W Arnold with pride!

🚀 To Infinity and Beyond with our Titan Power Readers! 🚀
We are so proud of our Titan Power Readers who were recognized during the PSJA Summer Reads Celebration for logging some of the highest reading minutes on Beanstack throughout the summer!
This year’s “Read to Infinity and Beyond” theme made the celebration extra fun, as students and librarians brought the excitement of reading to life with a Toy Story-inspired experience.

Congratulations to our outstanding readers for showing that a love of reading can take you anywhere! A special thank you to PSJA Library Services and the PSJA Education Foundation for making this wonderful literacy celebration possible and for continuing to encourage a lifelong love of reading. 🍎 Fresh Fruit, Writing & Math all in one lesson!

We love seeing our teachers take learning beyond the expected! In Ms. Muñoz’s 2nd Grade classroom, students extended their experience with the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) by turning their pomegranate tasting into a meaningful cross-curricular lesson.

Students not only had the opportunity to taste and explore pomegranates, but they also counted the pieces to incorporate Math and then completed a writing response explaining whether they liked the fruit and why. What a great way to connect a real-world experience to literacy, math, and student voice!

Awesome job, Ms. Muñoz, for finding a creative way to make this experience even more meaningful for our Titans! 💙

🍎 ¡Fruta fresca, escritura y matemáticas, todo en una sola experiencia de aprendizaje!

Nos encanta ver cómo nuestros maestros llevan el aprendizaje más allá de lo esperado. En el salón de 2.º grado de Ms. Muñoz, los estudiantes ampliaron su experiencia con el Programa de Frutas y Verduras Frescas (FFVP) al convertir la degustación de granadas en una actividad académica interdisciplinaria.

Los estudiantes no solo tuvieron la oportunidad de probar y explorar las granadas, sino que también contaron las semillas para incorporar Matemáticas y después completaron una actividad de escritura explicando si les gustó la fruta y por qué. ¡Qué excelente manera de conectar una experiencia real con la lectoescritura, las matemáticas y la voz de nuestros estudiantes!

¡Excelente trabajo, Ms. Muñoz, por encontrar una manera tan creativa de hacer esta experiencia aún más significativa para nuestros Titans! 💙

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Learning is all about FAMILY in Ms. Hernandez’s PK4 classroom!

Our youngest Titans were actively engaged as Ms. Hernandez brought their current theme, “My Family and Friends / Mi familia y mis amigos,” to life. Students explored the sub-theme “My Relatives / Mis parientes” through visuals, discussion, questioning, and lots of opportunities to participate and share their thinking.

We love seeing our PK4 students building vocabulary, making connections to their own families, and developing their language skills in such an interactive and meaningful way.

Great job, Ms. Hernandez, for creating an engaging learning environment where our little Titans are excited to participate and learn! 🌟

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ¡En el salón de PK4 de Ms. Hernandez, el aprendizaje se trata de la FAMILIA!

Nuestros pequeños Titans estuvieron muy participativos mientras Ms. Hernandez daba vida al tema “Mi familia y mis amigos / My Family and Friends”. Los estudiantes exploraron el subtema “Mis parientes / My Relatives” a través de imágenes, conversaciones, preguntas y muchas oportunidades para participar y compartir sus ideas.

Nos encanta ver a nuestros estudiantes de PK4 desarrollar vocabulario, hacer conexiones con sus propias familias y fortalecer sus habilidades del lenguaje de una manera tan interactiva y significativa.
