Our 6th Annual Virtual EdTech Conference brought employees from across the district together for a day of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

With more than 60 virtual sessions, educators and staff explored emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and practical digital tools that will help enhance learning and support students throughout the school year.

Today marks the first day of class for the inaugural cohort of our UTSA Film Studies Academy, a first-of-its-kind partnership between PSJA ISD and UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Through this innovative academy, students are beginning their journey toward earning college credit in film studies while exploring screenwriting, filmmaking, digital storytelling, media production, and other creative careers, all while still in high school through the PSJA Early College Program.

We’re excited to see our students turn their creativity and passion into future college and career opportunities. Here’s to the first chapter of an incredible story.

Meet the M2 Droid, an AI-powered teaching companion that provides meaningful instructional support, reflection, and coaching for our educators. From real-time feedback to student engagement, M2 is helping our new teachers examine their practice, refine instruction, and continue to grow with support along the way.

Commissioner Eddie Cantu partnered with four PSJA middle schools to host a Back-to-School Shoe Shopping Event, where students were given a budget to spend on brand new shoes. This annual event was created to ease the stress of back-to-school shopping for families, covering the cost of new shoes and supporting students for the school year.

Back to school shopping is about more than looking your best in school, it instills confidence in our students and motivates them to do well in class.
