🐗 A PROUD RAZORBACK MOMENT!
Oscar Nunez, Kansas City Whataburger Operating Partner and proud Kennedy alumni, Class of 2011.

Today, Oscar returned to PSJA Southwest Early College High School as a guest speaker, sharing his accomplishments and journey in business, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Making this moment even more meaningful, he invited our very own, Mrs. Araceli Cantu, his Kennedy MS Algebra teacher who inspired him, to be part of this special presentation.

Oscar’s story is a powerful reminder that the impact of a teacher can last long after a student leaves the classroom. We are proud to see a former Razorback pursuing success and inspiring the next generation!

Congratulations, Oscar, on your accomplishments, and thank you for recognizing the educators who helped shape your journey.

Recently, one of our 7th graders, Andres participated in the FUNdamental Sports competition!

He traveled 8+ hours to Midland/Odessa for FUNdamental Sports, a state-level Special Olympics competition that is designed for athletes who need modifications to participate in traditional Special Olympics sports.

Andres participated in a variety of activities, including bocce, flag football, golf, softball, swimming, and modified lifestyle/health-related activities.

This is a very special accomplishment for Andres. He is one of few athletes from our area, one of few from PSJA ISD, and the only athlete from Kennedy Middle School that attended this particular competition. We are proud of Andres for representing Kennedy and PSJA ISD at the state level. Congratulations, Andres!

⚾️🏆 HISTORY MADE AT KENNEDY! 🏆⚾️

A huge congratulations goes out to our 7th and 8th grade baseball teams on making school history! Both teams closed out their seasons with wins over Murphy tonight. Our 7th grade boys won 12 to 0, and our 8th grade boys won 7 to 3!

For the first time in Kennedy history, BOTH grade levels are district champions in the same season!

Our 7th grade boys finished with a record of 6 wins and 1 loss, earning district tri-champions alongside our sister school Escalante and RYMS!

Our 8th grade boys finished undefeated with 7 wins and no losses to win district outright! Dating back to last year, this group has a combined record of 22 wins and no losses, becoming Kennedy’s first baseball team to win back-to-back district championships!

From the beginning, our boys had their sights set on making school history. Through their hard work, dedication, and sacrifices, they made it happen!

Our coaching staff and the entire Kennedy Middle School community are extremely proud of these young men. Thank you to our families and fans for supporting our boys throughout the season!

A big congratulations goes out to our 8th grade boys soccer team on becoming District Co-Champions tonight with a 3 to 0 victory over the Vela Badgers!

This marks Kennedy’s first district championship in soccer since 2019! After a tough ending to their season last year, our boys were determined to get back on the field and finish what they started.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices these young men have put in since mid August. Through the heat and adversity, they kept showing up, working hard, and fighting for each other.

Enjoy this accomplishment, boys. You earned it! Go Razorbacks! 🐗
