We invite all parents and guardians to join us for a hands-on Parent Portal workshop designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident staying connected with your child's education.
During this workshop, we will guide you step-by-step through the Vanguard App and Parent Portal. You will learn how to access important information about your child, including grades, assignments, attendance, academic progress, school messages, and important school updates.
Whether you are new to the Parent Portal or simply want to learn more about how to use it, we are here to help! You will have the opportunity to follow along on your own phone or tablet, ask questions, and receive individual assistance when needed.
📲 Bring your smartphone or tablet and your Parent Portal login information, if available.
💙 Our goal is to help every parent feel informed, connected, and confident when accessing information and supporting their child's success throughout the school year.

Our Picasso students had a wonderful first day of school! 💙 Students enjoyed listening to stories read by their teachers, learning and reviewing classroom and school procedures, and getting to know their new routines. They also had a great time at recess and enjoyed participating in music and art classes. It was a fantastic day filled with learning, smiles, and excitement. We are so proud of our Picasso students and look forward to an amazing school year! 🎨📚✨

¡Nuestros estudiantes de Picasso tuvieron un maravilloso primer día de clases! 💙 Disfrutaron escuchando cuentos leídos por sus maestros, aprendieron y repasaron los procedimientos del salón y de la escuela, y comenzaron a familiarizarse con sus nuevas rutinas. Picasso Elementary proudly invites all students and families to our Meet the Teacher Night on August 7, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Picasso Elementary, 901 S. Athol, Pharr, Texas.

Come meet your child's teacher, visit the classroom, and learn about the exciting year ahead. As we celebrate our theme, "Glowing Together," we encourage all families to wear their favorite neon or glow-inspired colors and join us for an evening of fun, connection, and school spirit.
