It's with a heavy heart that we say good bye to one of the best teachers I've ever seen, Mr David Aiken.Gone to soon at the age of 71. He was the most relaxed teacher I've ever seen. I try my best everyday to get to that "stress free" point. He remains a true inspiration for us teachers that are losing our minds. He will be truly missed. His memory lives on.

Out of almost 200 Solo and Ensemble Awards across Edinburg, Mcallen, and PSJA percussion students ranging from 5th to 8th grade, only 4 awards were divisions 2. All other awards were division 1's and almost 40 of those division 1's were Outstanding Performer Awards.

Great job to all the percussion students this year! Let's keep the streak going for next year.
