Today, Lucas had a science experiment where he used commmon household substances to test for acids and bases. Before litmus paper was available, chemists used plants and vegetable dyes for these types of tests so they boiled red cabbage to use for this experiment. It was a good hands on activity to show the difference between acids and bases.

We started the new 2026-2027 school year yesterday and had our first chapel this morning. Our theme this year is Navigating Through Life. In the month of August we are asking the students who they are and looking at who the Bible says they are in Christ. Our theme verse for August is Ephesians 2:8-10. Gustavo started them off with a little game that was fun to watch and then he dove into the Word of God. What a blessing it is to have Gustavo and Luciana leading the charge of our school as they bring a light into the classroom each day.
