Lambs of Christ Learning Center

Lambs of Christ Learning Center Lambs of Christ Learning Center is a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church. Children have definite interests, likes and dislikes that develop at their own pace.

We offer preschool classes and wrap around care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. God made each of us different, and because of this, each child is an individual who at this age may like playing house, reading, learning the alphabet or just spending time with a friend. Lambs of Christ Learning Center respects this individuality that God has given us and has developed a learning program th

at through the guidance of nurturing teachers, children choose their own activities. Children will learn at a developmentally appropriate pace, thus providing them with more chances to succeed and feel good about whom they are as children of God. We provide your child with a satisfying and fulfilling environment. The teachers are constantly listening and talking with the children to encourage their social, emotional and language development. The children are surrounded with age-appropriate tools to simulate exploration, discovery and development. With the assistance of teachers, children develop interests at their own pace. Through the use of learning centers, each child will be provided with “hands on” activities that will develop the skills of how to sort things, recognize, identify and classify. Centers will also encourage writing skills, pre-reading skills and coordination. Individual interaction by our teachers allows and encourages the skills, needs and interests listed below:

Spiritual Development: Children will daily hear and apply God’s Word as it is taught in its truth and purity. Christian devotional activities, Bible lessons, prayers and songs will all be a part of their day. We want to touch their tender hearts with the love of God as they learn of Jesus their Savior. Intellectual Development: Children are given challenges in the critical thinking process. Basic language arts, communication, science, reading and math activities will aid in the development of their understanding. Physical Development: Using scissors, zipping zippers, tying shoes and buttoning buttons will assist in their fine motor skills. Activities such as climbing, jumping, hopping and skipping will help in development of their large muscles. We have an outdoor play area for the children to use. Social/Emotional Development: Daily activities with role playing will help develop social skills which are based on Christ-centered, God-pleasing principles of love and concern for each other’s safety and well-being. Children at this age are enthusiastic, adventurous, polite, outgoing and boastful. They all will be in an atmosphere in which they can feel accepted as a redeemed child of God. Creative Development: Children are encouraged to express themselves through activities involving art, music and movement. ACHIEVING HIGH STANDARDS

Our standard of excellence not only applies to our Christian program and teachers, but to all other areas of performance. You can always be assured that your child will receive consistent quality with regard to cleanliness, nutrition and safety. We are not only here for your child but are also here for you. We will frequently communicate with you through newsletters and the parent board, so that you are consistently informed of your child’s development and progress. We are here to listen to you, so if a problem arises, we will work with you to resolve the issue. We have developed a special little place for each child, where his or her talents are free to flourish and activities are age appropriate. It is a place that gives children more of a chance to discover and to nurture self-esteem in a positive way. It is a place where they learn Christian values and God-pleasing principles of love. It is place where they learn by having fun!

🖼️ 🧬 Today was our last day of our 2026 Summer Camp…. We STEAMed our way right through summer with so many amazing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities that all the classes enjoyed. 🧮 🧪

And what a way to end camp today before the rain came in! ALL classes came together and enjoyed an outdoor snack with each other. Big rain drops fell just as we all came inside…. 💦

Thank you Jesus for a blessed summer and we pray that you continue to be with us all as we move into our school year routines. 🙏🏼

We're busy here at LCLC! We're wrapping up our Summer Camp (1 more week!) AND preparing for the 2026-2027 School Year ahead!

We don't expect our families to shop from a school supplies list. Instead, we provide all the essential school supplies here for our students! With a lot of students, we go through a lot of supplies...

If you'd be interested in helping our Center stock up on supplies for the upcoming school year and help bring in some new items into our classrooms, please check out our wishlist here: https://a.co/03ItXpWW

Did you know that our staff makes a point to try to get together with each other each month, outside of the school day??

Yesterday, some of our staff (and their families!) joined some Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church members, and other WELS members, at the Brewers game! It was an action packed night full of memory making, despite the Brewers loss. Thankful for a team at LCLC that feels like family!💙💛🏟️⚾️

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for filling Your world with such beautiful things to discover! As we slow down and look closely at the flowers, leaves, insects, and all the amazing details of Your creation, help us see Your love and creativity in everything You have made. Teach us to care for Your creation with thankful hearts and to remember that every flower, every tiny creature, and every child is wonderfully made by You.

Amen!

🫧Bubble Fun!🫧

Our 1k class had fun exploring bubbles outside with a variety of tools this past week. But let’s be honest, bubbles are fun for kids of all ages! Blowing and chasing bubbles helps children build hand-eye coordination, practice deep breathing, and strengthen oral muscles used for speech development, all while having fun.

Looking for an easy outdoor activity to try out at home this weekend? Follow the recipe below!

🫧 Simple Bubble Recipe
• 4 cups warm water
• ½ cup dish soap (like Dawn)
• 2 tablespoons sugar

Gently stir the ingredients together (avoid creating lots of foam), then let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes before using. Pour into a shallow container and have fun with bubble wands—or make your own using pipe cleaners or cookie cutters!

📸 We’d love to see your bubble adventures! Share a photo in the comments below.

This week our older students have been participating in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School. What a tropical trek it has been! 🏝️

All are invited to hear them perform songs in the church sanctuary at 11am TOMORROW (Thursday, July 16th). Our younger classes are excited to head upstairs and listen to them praise Jesus. If your child is in VBS, you’re surely hearing the songs being sung at home! 😊

This week at camp, we had a special focus on art.

🖼️ 🎨🧑🏽‍🎨Students explored with MANY different kinds of art materials, focusing on the process over the final product. 🖌️✂️🖍️

It was amazing to see their pride in their creative explorations!
