⭐ Central’s Run-a-Thon is TOMORROW! ⭐

We’re excited for a fun-filled day of running, cheering, and COLOR!

A few reminders to help your student be ready:

👟 Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes that are good for running!

💧 Bring a water bottle!

UPDATE ON CLOTHING COLORS!

We previously encouraged students to wear white, but we’ve learned that the color powder actually shows up better on black or dark-colored clothing! Students are welcome to wear either, but darker colors are now encouraged. Please choose clothes that you don’t mind getting colorful!

We can’t wait to see our Central Stars shine tomorrow! ⭐

The book fair is here!!!

The easiest way to let your child shop the fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It’s easy to set up and easy for others to add funds. Cash and credit cards are also an option.

If you create an eWallet, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair - the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the fair empty-handed!

Here’s everything else you need to know about the Book Fair:

Congratulations to our first two Theme Song Thursday winners of the school year. Last week Mr. Vuke won Theme Song Thursday and this week Miss. Lorusso won congratulations!!!!! Thank you to our Central family that donated these two gift card to kick off our year. The teachers were very excited!!

If you are interested in donating prizes to Theme Song Thursday for our winning staff members feel free to send it in with your student or drop it off. We are looking for all sorts of different fun prizes.

We’re looking for a Noon Duty Aide to help during lunch and recess. This is a paid position for just 2 hours a day, from 10:50 AM–12:50 PM.

Dear Families,

We are excited to welcome you to our upcoming Open House! We look forward to having you visit our school, meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, and celebrate the wonderful start to the school year.

Please note: The State Street entrance will be closed for Open House. All families should enter through the Grove Street entrance.

While you are visiting, be sure to stop by and enjoy our Farm Stand and Photo Booth, located near Second Grade and the Grove Street entrance. We hope you’ll take a moment to visit, snap a photo, and enjoy this special part of our Open House!

Please also harvest and feel free to take your harvested vegetables for yourself and to share with friends and neighbors. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please check on the garden two to three times throughout the week. Hopefully two families will adopt the week each week so that it is fun and less work for everyone. Feel free to coordinate times.
