Exciting news! A new documentary series, Raising State, is coming to LSSU!

The series will highlight the people, stories, traditions, and resilience that make our campus and surrounding community so special. 💙💛

Additionally, the series will explore the deep connection between Lake State and Sault Ste. Marie—from classrooms and labs, to local businesses, waterfront life, student experiences, and the people working to shape the future of our region.

Filming begins this summer, with opportunities for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to participate voluntarily throughout production.
