CNA classes are an excellent choice for students who want to enter the field of nursing and earn valuable healthcare experience in a relatively fast and cost-effective way. CNA training prepares students to become certified nursing assistants, who are responsible for helping patients with activities of daily living, assisting with personal hygiene, and communicating vital health information about a patient’s condition to other medical staff.

This two-week class is divided into three parts and includes 34 hours of classroom learning, 16.5 hours of skill practice time in the laboratory, and 24.5 hours of supervised clinical practice at Bay Bluffs.

Prerequisites: Must be age 16 or older, have a completed background check (we will send a link), and proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test.

A CNC Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery. Their duties include running tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring machines when assembling products, and inspecting machinery at the end of each shift to identify parts needing repair.

This program provides 80 hours of training and includes Industrial and CNC Safety, Blueprint interpretation, Precision measurement and metrology, CNC fundamentals and simulation, Haas online operator training, and Haas Mill and Lathe Laboratory. Capstone and performance assessments are also required.

Students who successfully complete the program will receive:

Haas Basic Mill Operator Certification
Haas Basic Lathe Operator Certificate
NCMC Fast Track CNC Operator Certificate

Fast Track HVACR Level 1: Core + HVACR Foundations introduces students to the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration through NCCER-aligned classroom and hands-on lab instruction. Students develop foundational skills in HVACR and jobsite safety, trade math, hand and power tools, construction drawings, rigging, material handling, basic electricity, heating, cooling, air distribution, piping, soldering, brazing, and system components. This course prepares students for entry-level HVACR training progression and supports a stackable pathway toward HVACR service technician roles, NCCER credentials, and additional advanced HVACR levels.​

When a student completes this course, the student will be able to take dental radiographs, recognize dental equipment, gather patient health statistics, understand dental materials, be able to properly sterilize and process instruments, be able to take impressions and pour up dental models, transfer instruments safely to the Dentist or other provider, will be familiar with dental terminology, and much more. This course gives the student the basic skills to build upon for a successful dental career. The course will provide the student with all the information on how to apply for the Dental Assisting National Board’s National Entry Level Dental Assistant (NELDA) examination or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) examination for certification. Once you have gained clinical experience and required in-person hours, you will be prepared for the National Dental Assistants Board exam for certification.
