We have a limited amount of available MIXED DELIVERY SLOTS that help with CHILDCARE FUNDING at the center. These slots do not come open often but with the start of school and promotions to different age groups we have a few. These slots help pay for childcare. Copays are determined by current income. There are MANY ways to qualify. SOME of the ways you may qualify are income based, one or both parents did not complete high school, family does not speak English at home, child has certain medical/learning conditions (speech delay, adhd,, etc. ) The medical learning is fairly extensive. Other ways are homeless (possibly living with others), parent incarcerated, parent deployed, parent has disability and the list goes on. We currently have a few slots for children that will be 2, 3 or 4 years of age on 9/30/26. If interested message us or call the center at 804-861-8888 as these slots will not last long. Activity: All about me
Class: Toddler Teddy bears

When toddlers look into a mirror, they are building self-awareness, body identity, and emotional literacy. This activity helps the student recogonize the reflection is themselves rather than another child. By watching their movements, they map out their body boundaries and discover how their physical self fits into the physical world. This discovery helps form their "All About Me" identity, allowing them to practice facial expressions, connect feelings to faces, and lay the groundwork for self-concept and empathy. Way to go bears! ❤️❤️❤️

Activity: Bubble Fun
Class: Preschool Ladybug

Our ladybugs love playing with bubbles on the playground. They are learning science concepts like cause and effect and observing how bubbles move, while also strengthening gross‑motor skills through running and jumping and fine‑motor skills through dipping and blowing. They practice breath control that supports speech development, build sensory awareness as they feel and watch the bubbles, and develop visual‑tracking skills as they follow bubbles drifting through the air. Bubble play also encourages problem‑solving as children experiment with how to make bubbles and keep them from popping, expands language through descriptive vocabulary, and nurtures social‑emotional growth as they take turns, cooperate, and manage excitement or disappointment.

Activity: Gross Motor Fun
Class: Playful Pups

The playful pups classroom had a blast following instructions during their action songs playtime. When a song tells them to jump, spin, hop, or roll, they are practicing how to move their bodies, listen to directions, and follow the beat. These movements help them build strong muscles, balance, and coordination. They also learn new words because they hear the action and do it at the same time. Most of all, they gain confidence and enjoy learning while they move. This is so fun!

Activity: Pre-writing skills/End of camp lunch
Class: Preschool Ladybugs

Our students learn so much when they trace with markers and enjoy an end‑of‑camp party. Tracing helps them practice holding a marker, moving their hands with control, and following lines with their eyes, which builds early writing skills. It also teaches them to slow down, focus, and finish a task. During an end‑of‑camp party, children learn how to talk with friends, share space, follow simple directions, and celebrate as a group. These moments help them feel confident, connected, and proud of what they did at camp. Together, these activities support their growth in both learning and social skills. Awesooooome job guys!

Activity: Bubble painting
Class: Preschool Ladybugs

When students blow paint through a bubble wand and the colorful drops fall onto the paper, they are learning through play, science, and creativity all at once. They discover cause and effect as they see how blowing softly or strongly changes the size and direction of the paint splatters. They practice oral‑motor control, which helps with speech and breathing skills, and they strengthen fine‑motor skills by holding the wand and aiming it. The activity teaches them to experiment, watch what happens, and make choices based on the patterns they see. It also encourages creativity, because each splatter looks different and students learn to turn unexpected marks into art. Even though it feels like fun, they are building focus, problem‑solving, and confidence as they explore how air, paint, and movement work together.

Activity: Painting a sunflower field
Class: Preschool Ladybugs

When students are assisted by their Teacher to paint a sunflower field, they learn to look closely at colors, shapes, and patterns while practicing steady hand movements with their brushes. The Teacher help them to understand how to place objects in a picture, like the sky, the ground, and rows of flowers. Painting helps them stay focused, feel calm, and express their own ideas. It also connects to simple science and math, because they notice how plants grow and how petals and flowers repeat in patterns. Even though it seems like a simple art activity, it helps students grow in creativity, confidence, and careful observation. Check out the engagement! Awesome job Teacher and students!

Activity: Pipe cleaner fun

When our students push pipe cleaners into the tiny holes of a bowl, they are learning how to use their hands and fingers in better ways. This fun game makes their hand muscles strong so they can hold a pencil and cut with scissors later on. It also helps their eyes and hands work together to hit a tiny target, and it teaches them how to focus and solve simple problems when things do not fit right away! This is a great hands on activitu!

Activity: Color match
Class: Toddler Teddy Bears

Our toddlers were very engaged while matching colorful pom-pom balls to stars and hearts. When this is done, they are building important brain and body skills through play. By picking up and placing the small balls, they strengthen their finger muscles and practice the pinch grip needed to hold pencils later. They also use their eyes and hands together to guide the pom-poms exactly where they want them to go. This fun game helps them practice early math skills, too, because they learn to name colors, recognize shapes like hearts and stars, and notice how things are alike or different. Matching one ball to one shape helps them understand basic counting concepts. Plus, staying focused on the game builds their concentration and teaches them how to solve simple problems all by themselves!

Activity: Art Expo
Class: Preschool Dragonflies

Making art helps students learn many important things. As they work on different projects for an art show, they learn how to solve problems when something does not go right. Their hands get stronger and better at control as they cut, glue, and paint. They also see how different materials feel and work, which helps them share their thoughts and feelings using pictures and shapes. Finally, finishing a piece of art teaches them how to be patient and keep trying until they are done. What an awesome time they had! Great job guys! ❤️❤️❤️
