We are THRILLED to announce the 2020 ARGS Residency Visiting Writers: novelist Kristen-Paige Madonia and poet Margaret Mackinnon! We cannot wait to host them here in Petersburg and have them work with our students! Kristen-Paige will be with us later in March, and Margaret Mackinnon will be with us for two weeks in April. The ARGS Residency is pleased to announce our 2019 Writer in Residence, Sydney Tammarine. We can't wait to host her in April!
Bio: Sydney Tammarine is a writer, teacher, and translator whose work has appeared in The Missing Slate, Pithead Chapel, Gravel, Cleaver, and others. She is the co-translator of Christian Formoso's The Most Beautiful Cemetery in Chile and is at work on a collection of personal essays. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Hollins University and teaches English at Ferrum College. You can find her at www.sydneytammarine.com.
